Une Mayfly moins éphémère ?!...

Une chaussure qui convient aussi bien à des séances rythmées qu'à des sorties plus cool, mais qui donne envie de courir, car on ne sent pas la fatigue dans les jambes, ce qui est étonnant, car elles sont légères (environ 225 g. en 9,5 US). Elles évoquent un peu les Pegasus Turbo, mais mieux abouties et plus sécurisantes pour l'entraînement. Elles permettent aussi un meilleur déroulement du pied par rapport aux Peg Turbo. La semelle de contact est solide et accrocheuse. Il faudra voir si la mousse intermédiaire n'aura pas tendance à perdre trop rapidement de son efficacité, car elle s'écrase visiblement sur la face interne. Mais 600 à 700 km devraient pouvoir être normalement atteints sans encombre. La languette est effectivement courte, mais ne gêne pas du tout, tout comme les lacets d'ailleurs. En résumé, une chaussure très efficace et polyvalente, agréable et facile à insérer dans une rotation de plusieurs paires.

Very Uncomfortable upper!

Nice responsive ‘old school’ low stack sole ruined by a badly designed upper. The tongue is so short and minimalist it doesn’t even cover the top row of laces, so they cut into the top of your foot, and that is not even using the extra eyelets. After two 15km runs the tops of my feet were badly bruised. Tried various different lacing tensions and tongue positions but nothing could make them comfortable.
