Nike Forward is made for an athlete's every move. Not a knit or a woven, Nike Forward is created from multiple thin layers of select fibres, formulated to meet your needs, resulting in an extraordinarily lightweight material that provides year-round warmth.
The Journey Ahead
Crafted for performance and planet, the Nike Forward materials reduce the carbon footprint by an average of 75% (due to the use of recycled materials, lower process energy use and lower material density) when used instead of our traditional knit fleece material used to make an apparel product, representing one step along Nike's Move to Zero journey, towards a zero-waste and zero-carbon future. The Carbon Footprint of Nike Forward material is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment review by PRe Sustainability BV. Trims and other minor components are excluded from the result.
